I'm Rick Self, your local Lincoln, Nebraska, State Farm agent. I have worked in the insurance industry for over 39 years and am grateful for the opportunity to serve my community. We also serve Iowa, Kansas and South Dakota.

We pride ourselves on providing friendly, personalized service to our customers 24/7. Making a difference in the lives of the people we serve, as well as our community, has always been a priority. Our Agency offers various insurance services, including auto insurance, life insurance, health insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, and business insurance. We also assist with relocations to Lincoln and are here to ensure you and your family have the coverage you need when you need it!

I earned my finance degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and am a chartered life underwriter (CLU) and chartered property and casualty underwriter (CPCU). I am a member of NAIFA and a Leadership Lincoln Alum. In addition to these professional organizations, I'm an Ambassador for Life club member, a proud member of the JA Golden Apple Society, and serve on the board of directors for Junior Achievement.

I enjoy being active in my community and volunteering in schools, fishing, and hunting in my free time. I'm a pretty simple guy who genuinely values family. I am a proud husband to my wife, Shelly, and a father to our four daughters, two of whom work with me at the agency. We also have five grandchildren whom we love spending time with.
